TAFA Applauds 34 Members of Congress for Adding to Unprecedented Bipartisan Momentum to Protect Access to Telehealth in End-of-Year Omnibus

Republican and Democratic Lawmakers Call on Congressional Leaders to Extend Critical Telehealth Flexibilities Through the End of 2024

Washington, D.C – Telehealth Access for America (TAFA) issued the following statement in response to a letter sent to Congressional leaders Friday co-signed by 34 Members of Congress, calling for an extension of critical telehealth flexibilities in end-of-year omnibus legislation.

“Telehealth Access for America applauds the lawmakers in both chambers and in both parties who have added to the unprecedented bipartisan momentum to protect access to telehealth by calling on Congressional leaders to extend critical telehealth flexibilities before the end of the year,” said TAFA spokesperson Julia Mirich. “Millions of patients who face uncertainty and the potential loss of telehealth services they rely on to manage their health are counting on Congress to safeguard access to virtual care in an end-of-year spending package.”
