Telehealth Programs Remain a Critical Resource for Medicare Patients

In case you missed it, the latest #TelehealthTuesday from the Partnership to Advance Virtual Care (PAVC) highlights the increasing importance of telehealth for Medicare beneficiaries to access and manage their health care.

In this week’s graphic, PAVC shows more than 9.5 million Medicare beneficiaries used telehealth services during 2021 and that these patients participated in two million telehealth visits each month. It will be critical that Congress advance permanent solutions to safeguard access to virtual care for these millions of patients who have come to rely on telehealth.
