ICYMI: PAVC Showcases Increased Telehealth Use Among Those With Greatest Health Care Needs
Telehealth Continues To Play Important Role In Accessibility Of Medical Care, Particularly For Those With Certain Chronic Illnesses
Washington, D.C. – In case you missed it, the latest #TelehealthTuesday visual from the Partnership to Advance Virtual Care (PAVC) focuses on those with the greatest health care needs, such as those with chronic health conditions. This week’s data demonstrates that telehealth use among this group remains a valuable and utilized service, even after in-person care resumed.
In this week’s graphic, PAVC outlines the percentage of Medicare beneficiaries that used telehealth in December 2020, along with their prior diagnosis, showing how telehealth provided a way for patients to connect with providers to address their medical needs.
