ICYMI: PAVC’s Newest Data Finds Telehealth Improves Patient Evaluation and Management

Feb 1, 2023

According to Findings, “Most Telehealth is for Evaluation and Management (E/M) Services for Established Patients, Psychiatry, and Specialists”

In case you missed it, the latest #TelehealthTuesday from the Partnership to Advance Virtual Care (PAVC) shows that most telehealth services remain dependable in evaluation and management (E/M) services for established patients, psychiatry, and specialists. The research also emphasizes that the quantity of psychiatry visits has remained steady since the beginning of the Public Health Emergency (PHE), underscoring its continued importance.

In this week’s graphic, PAVC shows that telehealth use for E/M from May through December 2021 has remained consistent for patients. It is essential that Congress advance permanent solutions to secure access to virtual care for these patients who have come to rely on telehealth.
