ICYMI: Telehealth Remains Popular With Medicare Beneficiaries
Virtual Care Use Remains Stable Throughout 2022
In case you missed it, the Partnership to Advance Virtual Care (PAVC) shared its first Telehealth Tuesday of the year, amplifying recent findings that show that telehealth use remained stable throughout 2022.
The study found that over eight million fee-for-service Medicare beneficiaries had at least one telehealth visit in 2022, and PAVC discusses how these findings support the fact that telehealth is beneficial in creating care access for millions and remains popular, well after pandemic-era restrictions have been lifted.
We call on Congress to recognize the critical urgency to avert a telehealth cliff for America’s seniors and capitalize on the growing bipartisan momentum for telehealth, by passing permanent solutions to protect access to virtual care.
